About Us

Who We Are

The Greater Fredericksburg Black Chamber of Commerce (formerly the Stafford Regional Black Chamber of Commerce) is an organization dedicated to empowering Black and minority-owned businesses in the Greater Fredericksburg Area. The Greater Fredericksburg area encompasses businesses located in Stafford, Fredericksburg, Spotsylvania, King George, and Caroline county. Our organization was developed to build a strong Black Business community that is connected through our common interests in our community.

What We Do

Our mission is to empower Black and minority-owned businesses in the Greater Fredericksburg Area by educating and connecting them to our local communities.  Our programs and events are meant to provide information that will strengthen and improve the Black business leaders of today.  Throughout the year, we create opportunities for our members to grow their professional and resource network through sponsored social events.

Why We Do It

Our focus is on empowering Black and minority-owned businesses in the Greater Fredericksburg Area because:

  • We understand the value of a diverse business community
  • Strong Black and minority owned businesses improve the quality of life for families in our area
  • We believe that business ownership is the best path to financial independence
